Warehouse
and Systems Consultants
Ted Maley Logistics helps manufacturing and distribution
companies to reduce warehouse and supply chain operating costs and ...
improve their service levels.
It is a truism that many warehouses operate less efficiently
than they could and also that in many instances, processes have not been
updated to meet changes in customer requirements or in stock profile.
Ted
Maley Logistics specialises in working with companies to improve the productivity,
accuracy, visibility, timeliness etc. of their warehouse processes. A
further specialisation is the definition of requirements and selection
of warehouse management systems which is backed up by deep knowledge of
the respective capabilities of suppliers in the UK market. Associated
areas include RF and voice terminals and bar-coding.
Ted himself has over 30 years engineering and supply chain
experience which he applies to warehouse and supply chain process reviews
and systems selection and implementation. He has a particular expertise
in warehouse and order management systems and based on 13 years of assessing
warehouse, distribution and fulfilment operations, prides himself on being
able to take a truly pragmatic approach.
With
well developed analytical and inter-personal skills, backed up by a wealth
of experience he is quickly able to assess situations and come up with
realistic and practical recommendations for improved methods. Ted's wide
ranging experience includes work carried out for BICC Cables, British
Pepper and Spice, British Sugar, Clyde Bonding, East Midlands Electricity,
Fuji Photo Film, Healthcare Logistics, Hoechst, Kelloggs Europe, Kraft
Jacob Suchard, Logicom, Macfarlane Transport, Nichol Beauty, P&O Trans
European, Procter & Gamble, Scholl Products, SmithKline Beecham, Spicers,
Woolworths, Unipart and Zomax.
Ted Maley Logistics also offers a materials handling, warehouse design
and project management capability both personally and though business
partners.
